Oui, et souvent tout \u00e0 la fois!<\/p>\n

Il se d\u00e9finit lui-m\u00eame comme un musicien curieux qui aime naviguer entre les styles plut\u00f4t que de
choisir un seul chemin.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Form\u00e9 tr\u00e8s jeune au piano et au violon gr\u00e2ce au programme El Sistema, il \u00e9tudie \u00e9galement le chant avec l\u2019Opera Theater of Saint Louis avant de poursuivre sa formation artistique \u00e0 la Central Visual and Performing Arts High School.<\/p>\n

Mais son \u00e9cole la plus vivante reste aussi l\u2019\u00e9glise afro-am\u00e9ricaine de Saint-Louis, Shalom Church City of Peace, ainsi que le Gospel Symphonic Choir, o\u00f9 il grandit musicalement entre piano, chant et esprit de communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 en direction de chant de l\u2019\u00c9cole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, laur\u00e9at du Fulbright Program et actuellement Artist-in-Residence \u00e0 la Fondation des \u00c9tats-Unis, il d\u00e9veloppe des projets qui cr\u00e9ent des passerelles entre les mondes musicaux.<\/p>\n

Chef de chant, pianiste, arrangeur, p\u00e9dagogue ? L\u00e0 aussi : un peu tout \u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Ce qu\u2019il pr\u00e9f\u00e8re avant tout reste le travail avec les voix et l\u2019\u00e9nergie unique qui na\u00eet quand un groupe chante et respire ensemble.<\/p>\n

En dehors de la musique ?<\/p>\n

Khalid aime apprendre les langues (il en parle cinq !), d\u00e9couvrir de nouvelles cuisines, jouer du ping pong et rester curieux de tout ce qui nourrit la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Avec The Voice of Freedom, il souhaite \u00ab\u00a0cultiver l\u2019\u00e9nergie du gospel et des spirituals tout en poussant le ch\u0153ur \u00e0\u00a0 explorer toute la puissance et la couleur de son son\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
